Our Preschool Program
Our program is for children 3 – 4 years of age that are potty trained. At BCLC we realize that not every child learns the same way. We incorporate instruction with movement, song and hands on activity. The Preschool child benefits from the development of social skills vital in building strong character values. We foster creativity, independence, responsibility and caring for others in a safe, nurturing atmosphere. We encourage our students strengths, making them a valued part of their classroom and school. BCLC is rich in values of spiritual growth supported by daily devotion and weekly chapel. This balance of instruction and Christian values help prepare our students for long-term academic and social success.
Our Classrooms
Our max classroom ratio is 1:12 for 3/4 year old children. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each child as an individual and also meet and exceed the Ohio Common Core Standards mandated by the state. The educational experience provides a lasting value in the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development of the child.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are professional educators, but they are also eager to help your child have a fun and positive start to their school life. Our staff meets all state requirements, and they are dedicated to the care and guidance of children through Christian standards and ideals. They teach in both group and individual settings to ensure that your child is developing the skills they will need for first grade and beyond.
